About Scot
Scot Bove began his career in 1984 as a corrections officer under the late Sheriff Theodore “Ted” Herman. In 1986, he was promoted to the position of Lieutenant under Sheriff Mike Flynn and during this time, was a key contributor to the highly successful Worcester County Community Service program. During this time, Scot also participated in the Work Release Program, the Mounted Unit and the K-9 Unit.
In 1990 Scot was promoted to Captain, overseeing 7 departments and more than 80 employees across a diverse range of internal services. In 1995, he was promoted to Assistant Deputy Superintendent in charge of he medium Security Sector of the prison, and in 2005, under Sheriff Guy Goldis, his responsibilities expanded to include Maximum Security.
Scot lives in Holden, MA with his family, wife Tracie, daughter Alivia and son Nicholas. Scot is also part owner of a family business on Worcester's famed Shrewsbury Street.
